American Express Super 8 Junior tournament run by Joburg Tennis at Ellis Park, 311 entrants playing in one of the most prestigious and longest run junior tennis tournaments in the country.

20 – 21st July Rising Star Primary School Tournament, 36 Primary Schools teams competed to represent Gauteng Central at the National Rising Stars tournament to be held in October

Disadvantaged players from Rabie Ridge, Alexandra, Turrfontein, Kensington (Rhodes Park) and Soweto. More than 80 scholars played in the Central Corridor Junior Tennis League. .

US Embassy donates equipment racquets, balls and shoes

 

Donation from Gauteng Sports, Art and Culture, received tennis shoes for disadvantaged players at the following clubs: Moletsane Tennis Courts (4 pairs), Alexandra Tennis Courts (4 pairs), Yeoville Tennis Courts (4 pairs), Turffontein Tennis Courts (3 pairs)
